In this course Teachers of Spanish language will be able to develop their language skills and study Spanish culture and language through films. Emphasis will be on vocabulary building, improving conversational and writing skills, comprehension, film analysis, as well as discussions on cultural events of the films' contexts. The projected outcome of this course is to provide classroom teachers with the knowledge, understanding, and methodologies needed to enable to have more engaging students through the use of Latin American Cinema to improve their communication. This course is conducted in Spanish by a native speaker, Dr. Wanda Ocasio-Rivera.
